The 1/10th gun worked great for me, except for the higher cost of "tubes" VS the 30 ounce "tubes". The 1/10th gun is lighter to use, thus less tiring. You do take more time changing "spent" tubes, with the 1/10th gun. The 30 ounce gun had problems with the large "o-ringe" seal that kept twisting in, and loosing air pressure, cuasing construction delays, having to fix the ring, that I got so tired of fixing, that I just stopped using the 30 ounce gun. This was a shame since I paid for both, and now use the 1/10th gun, due to the above problem. The 30 ounce tubes are also cheaper, down the road. I also noted the pressure clamp on the air hose to come loose, and need clamping. I recommend the manufacturer look at the above complaint, on the clamp and 30 ounce tool. The 1/10th gun works great, and sure beats hand caulking. Was this review helpful to you? YesNo Report abuse | Permalink Comment Comment

Using the gun with the small cartridge is OK with no problem but trying to use the gun for the large cartridges is almost impossible! In order to use a large cartridge you have to put the cartridge in a tube and connect the tube to the gun. This is done by compressing a hard rubber "O" ring and here is the problem. Using all my strength I cannot exert enough pressure to compress this "O" ring and assemble the gun. Perhaps this is just the fault of the cartridge but this should not happen. You cannot have a caulking gun that will work only on certain cartridges. It is better to have two guns (one for small cartridges and another for the large catridges). For the price of this gun you can purchase two guns. You just have to look around spend some time. I returned this gun and now have two seperate caulking guns that work great (and have money let over)! Was this review helpful to you? YesNo Report abuse | Permalink Comment Comment (1)

I'll admit I was worried after reading some reviews, but it performed remarkably well. I bought it for the log installation, because I'm 62 years old and wasn't looking forward to hand-pumping a bead on each of 33 rows of logs. I was using 30 ounce tubes, and all I had to do different was to add the second supplied rubber gasket to the one already in the gun. I'm happy! Was this review helpful to you? This product allows me to draw a perfect bead, thin or wide depending on who hard you squeeze the trigger. It's heavyer with the larger tubes but it works great for putting down construction adhesive to lay subflooring. If you have a compressor on the job you need this gun. Was this review helpful to you? Hatter "shatter" (Everett, WA) This review is from: Caulk Master PG151 Professional Air Powered Dispensing Gun (Tools & Home Improvement) This caulking gun is great. I put 50 + tubes of liquid nail through it and it made my project so much easier. Besides, you can tell your friends you have a caulkmaster and that is just too funny. Great product. Mcgough (Fort Worth, Texas) This review is from: Caulk Master PG151 Professional Air Powered Dispensing Gun (Tools & Home Improvement) We use these at work to seal panels to airplanes. If you just squeeze and hold the trigger down you will make an awful mess. Pump the trigger a little at a time and this thing will sing (seal) for you. We use sealant 10 times more messy than rtv (caulk). so messes are ugly. If people hate this gun then they don't know how to use it properly. Was this review helpful to you? This allowed her to do a lot more chinking. It is a little hard to control the flow of it, but for her it was a hand saver. Was this review helpful to you? I can get 2/3 to 3/4 of the product through the gun. After that air come blowing out with the caulk. I was not able to find a phone # to get tecnical help support. I even searched on the web. I am using the caulking gun but when the caulk starts blowing air I have to put the caulk into a manual gun to get the rest out. Not what I though the product would do. I am dissapointed. Caulk Master PG151, November 4, 2011 This review is from: Caulk Master PG151 Professional Air Powered Dispensing Gun (Tools & Home Improvement) This is a great tool. Way better than hand pumping. Only one thing. While using the large tubes I had to first put the tube in the manual gun and get that first part of the tube unstuck and switch over to the Caulk Master. When I tried to use the Caulk Master for that first "unsticking of the tube" it would flip the plunger in the tube on it's side. Kinda messy then. It comes with two gaskets (different thicknesses). You will need them for the large & small tubes. Was this review helpful to you? YesNo Report abuse | Permalink Comment Comment
