Cut-to-Fit Carbon Prefilter can be used for most airpurifiers, such as Honeywell, Duracarft, Whirlpool, Holmes, Environcare, and so on. It can also be used in a variety of other uses such as after filter for a furnace filter, pre filter for range hood, absorb odors in a refrigerator, basement, garage, car/van and so on. I found this to be good for replacing the carbon filters in my range hood. I can probably get about ten filters out of one sheet. I cut them oversized and fold them over the old filters, then slide them into place. The retainers hold the new material in place.

I bought this to replace the carbon air filter in my refrigerator. The OEM filter is a piece of carbon paper in a little cardboard box with a cutout in one side. I simply opened the box, removed the paper, cut a piece of this to size, put in the box, and voila, new filter. This is much cheaper than buying the OEM filters and enough here to last me for years.

I have a Oreck air purifier, that you have to replace the filter once a year according to Oreck. I am a old appliance repairman, I feel those filters should be replaced at least every 3 months. Oreck wants $49.00 per filter plus shipping.

The Bulk Filter company had a cut to fit bulk pack for only $0 And excellent customer service when I called with a couple of questions. Can't ask for better price or support.

High quality as in that:

1) it feels rigid and thick
2) not dusty and no residue to come off that I could see
3) quite dense from looking via light

I taped one to my HVAC filter (Filtrete rating 1900) and now my HVAC filters both particulate waste and gases like VOC, benzene, radon (yes!), etc.

Better and way cheaper than Filtrate's new Odor Reduction line, which particulate filtration maxes out at only 1000.

I use this stuff for replacement filters for everything that takes a carbon odor filter. Just cut to fit and it will save you a bunch of money when compared to buying the manufacturers pre cut filters. Works especially good on my air purifier and deep fryer and at about 1/10th the cost.

The filter is nice and thick, much thicker than the ones I have bought at retail stores with brand names. I assume this will filter more and last longer. The first package got lost, but the company shipped out a replacement immediately and I received that one in a couple days. I'm happy.

This filter is a must for people using Hunter-type air purifiers. It is generously proportioned, and it is not flimsy as some other filters.

I purchased for a Sears/Kenmore Air Cleaner I have had for over five years. Just exactly what I needed. The product arrived just as was indicated.

Usually we buy the name brand pre-filters but at a fraction of the cost we decided to try this one out. We are so pleased! We have several air purifiers and usually have to buy 2 or more of the name brand universal pre-filters when we replace them. This was large enough to do 3 - one large, one medium, and one small air purifiers. This also feels thicker than the ones we buy but for us that will probably be better for filtering out what we need.
